Made from 3/16" 1095 high carbon steel, the Mountaineer features a wide 1.536" blade and a rugged forged finish, making it ideal for splitting wood, batoning, chopping, and even prying bark from downed trees. Its 90-degree spine adds fire-starting functionality, while the Scandi grind provides a strong edge for clean cuts and controlled carving. The comfortable, choke-up-friendly curly maple handle ensures excellent control, even when tackling demanding camp tasks.
